Vision
St Theodore’s is a Parish in the Anglo-Catholic tradition in a contemporary and progressive form. We seek to be a living community of faith which values liturgy and preaching to sustain our faith action in daily life.
Mission
Our Mission is to be an active, caring and supportive Christian community which:
- worships God and makes God known
- seeks the guidance of the Holy Spirit
- looks to involvement with the wider community.
Hospitality
In thanksgiving for the hospitality of God, we seek to extend our hospitality through people and place, prayer and reflection, to enhance and extend our community
Pastoral Care
In thanksgiving for the compassion of God, we seek to progressively nurture our capacity to offer effective pastoral care for members of the parish and the wider community
Liturgy and Learning
In thanksgiving for the beauty of our liturgical worship and our growth as a learning community, we seek to embrace this gift as we grow together in Christ
Communications
In thanksgiving for the living and active Word of God, we seek to develop our capacity to be a visible and accessible community of faith and action
Partnership
In thanksgiving for the God’s love for us, we endeavour to grow as a parish in a spirit of love and develop our partnership with the wider church and community
Stewardship
In thanksgiving to God for the gifts we share, we seek to be good stewards of our resources to promote our life as a parish, our buildings and gardens, our finances and administration, and the gifts and skills of our people
